Our Objectives

  1. To secure the complete organization of the farming community in Epukiro Constituency and the surrounding areas with the aim of motivating members to emerge from subsistence to commercial activities.
  2. To always pursue a policy of equality for all members regardless of age, sex, marital status, creed, color, race, ethnical origin, disability, or sexual orientation.
  3. To watch over (watchful eye) all legislative measures which may affect or tend to affect the interest of its members; to use its influence with members of parliament and the regional Governor as well as with the Constituency Councilor; to attempt to secure the promotion, rejection or amendment of legislation affecting the agriculture sector and its farmers, as circumstances may require.
  4. To raise, maintain and administer a common fund or funds to be applied and used in carrying out the objectives of EEFA.
  5. To provide for the acquisition and control of property and for the investment or borrowing of money or mortgages or otherwise.
  6. To make contributions (donations) to non-political or charitable bodies.
  7. To seek cooperation with Sister Farmers association with similar objectives.
  8. To do all such other lawful things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives or any of them.
  9. The association (EEFA) shall not belong to nor subscribe to any political party
  10. To arrange and promote livestock shows in the Epukiro constituency and/or in conjunction with other Regional Farmers Associations.
  11. To arrange or to hold seminars/lectures or information sessions for its members at such a place as may be advisable with a view to improving farming methods.
  12. To inform its members on political, socio-economic, and technological matters that may be of interest to members in their farming activities.
  13. To collect and disseminate statistical and other information of relevance and interest to its members.
  14. To undertake research to enable EEFA to formulate appropriate strategies with the aim of resolving perceived challenges/threats.
  15. To establish and maintain contacts with farmers associations and various other institutions throughout the world with a view to cooperating with them and to device benefits from such co-operations.
  16. To actively promote and participates in national efforts and strategies with a view to reducing the high level of employment, and reduction of HIV/AIDS and COVID-19.

Our Mission

To enhance farming through modern farming system techniques, contemporary farmers Information system (ITC), with the prime focus on controlled crop and animal diseases through continuous learning, improvement, and coaching. Through farmer’s education, we promote quality breeding input to derive quality output which will ultimately give farmers financial benefits and adoptable breeds and cultivars that will resist climate change and devastating drought.

What We Do

Our farmers and the community in the Epukiro Constituency are our number one priority. Everything we do, we do it for them, to have ease in their farming.

Promote Livestock

To arrange and promote livestock shows in the Epukiro constituency and/or in conjunction with other Regional Farmers’ Associations.

Seminars/lectures

To arrange or to held seminars/lectures or information sessions for its members at such a place as may be advisable with a view to improving farming methods.

Undertake Research

To undertake research to enable EEFA to formulate appropriate strategies with the aim of resolving perceived challenges/threats.

Access To Resources

To arrange far resources to be easily accessible to the farmers by bringing it to the community.
